As a qualified Early Childhood Teacher, you will support the overall operations of the service and lead, guide, and support a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care to children.
This includes:
- Providing pedagogical leadership to the team to ensure the provision of a contemporary, quality and diverse educational program based on an approved curriculum framework.
- Ensuring children’s agency, choice and influence are promoted, so that the programs meet the interests and abilities of each child.
- Providing leadership and being part of a large passionate professional team ensuring the provision of quality Early Childhood programs at the early learning service.
- Ensuring partnerships are developed with families and in the community.
- Ongoing reflective practice, critical reflection and developing a positive professional team and organisational culture.
Our kindergartens located in Ballarat, offer creative programs for 3 to 4 year-olds and operate 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and Friday.

- A Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood or equivalent Approved Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority qualification).
- Current VIT registration.
- Current National Child Safety Training and any applicable state-based child safety training (or ability to obtain prior to commencement).
- Experience gained in early childhood education.
- Strong organisation and planning skills, including a high attention to detail.
