Oztag Coach – Fridays | Greenacre NSW
Fit Futures is a leading sports education provider delivering high-quality PDHPE programs to primary school students across Sydney. We’re passionate about helping young Australians move, grow and thrive—and we’re looking for an enthusiastic Oztag coach to join our team.
Role Summary
We’re seeking a motivated and reliable coach to deliver engaging Oztag lessons to primary school students in Greenacre every Friday during school hours.
The position will commence in Term 3, 2026, with the opportunity for ongoing work.
You’ll work with the same classes each week, allowing you to build positive relationships with students and teachers while helping children develop their Oztag skills, teamwork and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver fun, safe and age-appropriate Oztag lessons
- Teach fundamental skills, including passing, catching, tagging, movement and game awareness
- Adapt activities to suit different ages and ability levels
- Encourage teamwork, participation and positive behaviour
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Build positive relationships with students, teachers and Fit Futures staff
- Represent Fit Futures professionally within the school community
Essential Requirements
- Previous Oztag, rugby league, touch football or sports coaching experience
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- Available every Friday during school hours
- Reliable transport to Greenacre
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, energetic and professional approach to working with children
Preferred but Not Required
- Oztag, touch football or rugby league coaching accreditation
- Experience coaching primary school-aged children
- First aid qualification
- Experience delivering sport or PDHPE programs in schools
