In this role, you'll:
Work within our Maintenance Management & Project Services Team within the Road Asset & Program Services Branch of the Road Maintenance & Resilience division at Transport for NSW.
You will assist in co-ordinating asset management requirements across the upcoming Regional Energy Zone (REZ) program of works, ensuring asset management functions are integrated throughout the development and delivery of all works.
You'll ensure that all projects meet agreed timelines, budgets, quality standards and scope requirements. This includes developing project briefs and cost estimates, preparing contract documents with technical specifications, and monitoring work programs.
You'll implement cost management systems to ensure sound financial oversight and collaborate with service providers and other TfNSW divisions to deliver expert advice on road works and asset management matters.

About you
You'll have demonstrated knowledge of the technical aspects of materials, equipment and techniques used in road, bridge and other related traffic infrastructure construction and maintenance.
You hold a four-year civil engineering degree from an Australian university or equivalent overseas qualification recognised under the Washington Accord. You possess a current Australian motor vehicle driver's licence and a valid White Card, which you're committed to maintaining throughout your employment.
You're also willing to work outside standard hours and travel occasionally.
This is an Award Transport Engineer Level 1-2 Temporary Fixed Term Full-Time role, initially for 24 months based in Regional NSW with a home office location of either Newcastle, Orange, Dubbo, Bathurst or Wagga with flexibility through our cutting-edge hybrid working model.
