We require an experienced Estimator to join our team to assist and lead the growth. Someone who can work autonomously, be well presented and have exceptional communication and customer service skills.

We are seeking a person who has the capacity and drive to assist in the growth of this business. A strong will to succeed and pride of work will be beneficial. Proven experience as an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor within the industry is a must. Essential requirements are:

  • Experience in providing detailed take-off on your own
  • Experienced in providing take-off on trade packages including but not limited to: Carpentry (Frame, lock-up and fix), Concrete (from detailed excavation to reo and form-work), Plastering, Roofing, Civil works, Brick and Block works, External cladding (ACM, Metal cladding, FC etc.), Plumbing
  • Be able to produce bill of quantity on commercial and residential projects within a timeline and within scope of each trades
  • Knowledge of the estimating processes and general contract administration duties is a key essential
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Prepare subcontractor scope of works
  • Administer RFIs, EOTs, variation claims

Reporting directly to the General Manager you must have a proven track record in creating and building relationships with clientele. Highly developed communication skills, well developed time and management skills, a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a strong attention to detail.

Within this role the duties will include:

  • The ability to think ‘on your feet’
  • The ability and expectation to assess jobs and relay accurate information to the client in a timely manner.
  • Be able to accurately and in detail quantify construction components of different trades
  • Working autonomously and with team
  • Maintain detailed daily/weekly team reporting
  • Do ALL of the above with a great big SMILE and positive attitude as our customers are No. 1

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 6+ years’ experience (An up to date and clean driver’s license) able to demonstrate a track record of a similar type role. Well developed time and management skills, a demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment and be prompt and reliable. Have a ‘can do’ attitude as the world is our opportunity…

Salary: $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 /year
