About the Role
The Executive Assistant (Place & Growth) provides high‑level administrative, coordination and governance support to the Director Place & Growth. You’ll ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations across the Directorate through proactive organisation, communication and stakeholder support.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional customer service and support a collaborative team culture
- Manage calendars, meetings, travel and correspondence for the Director
- Prepare agendas, minutes, briefing materials and business papers
- Maintain records, confidentiality and compliance with Council policies
- Coordinate workshops, briefings, community engagement activities and events
- Assist with procurement, financial administration and basic budget tracking
- Support onboarding, training and administrative process improvements
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Demonstrated experience as an Executive Assistant in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication and business writing skills
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Desirable
- Qualifications in Business Administration or similar
- Experience with local government systems or electronic records management
- Understanding of GIS
- Current NSW Class C Driver Licence
