Melbourne Truck Bodies is a well-established truck body manufacturing company based in Moorabbin, Victoria. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Truck Body Builder to join our team on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for stable, long-term employment in a busy and professional workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication and assembly of truck bodies and custom builds
- Working with steel and aluminium
- Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
- Welding (MIG/TIG as required)
- Fitting doors, floors, frames, panels and other components
- Maintaining high standards of quality and safety
About You:
- Qualified Truck Body Builder or equivalent trade experience
- Qualified Welder in manufacturing of truck bodies
- Previous experience in truck body manufacturing or heavy vehicle fabrication
- Strong welding and fabrication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and detail-focused
- Strong commitment to safety and workmanship
