Legal Research & Document Assistant (Confidential Contract)
We are an Australian technology startup preparing for the launch of a new online platform and are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Research & Document Assistant to assist with preparing draft legal documentation.
This is a confidential contract role suitable for a final-year law student, law graduate, junior solicitor or experienced legal assistant.
Responsibilities
- Research Australian laws relevant to online platforms.
- Prepare draft legal documents for solicitor review.
- Assist with:
- Terms of Use
- Privacy Policy
- Community Guidelines
- Refund Policy
- Affiliate & Referral Terms
- Independent Contractor Agreements
- Research competitor legal documentation.
- Ensure documents are well organised and professionally formatted.
Requirements
- Strong legal research skills.
- Excellent written English.
- Knowledge of Australian privacy and consumer law is desirable.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Important
The successful applicant will be required to sign a Confidentiality (NDA) Agreement before receiving project information.
This is a project-based contract with flexible hours and remote work available.
