As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a passionate and capable Product Development Engineer to join our Aftermarket Product Development team.
Role Overview:
In this role, you will contribute to the design, development and engineering of innovative aftermarket products and vehicle accessory solutions.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will support projects from concept through to production, ensuring products meet performance, durability, manufacturability and compliance requirements. A significant focus of the role will involve the design and development of fabricated and sheet metal components, requiring consideration of manufacturing processes, cost, performance and assembly requirements.
You will play a hands-on role in product design, testing, validation and continuous improvement, helping deliver market-leading products that enhance the customer experience both on and off the road. Flexibility and adaptability are important, as you may contribute to projects across a range of product categories within the ARB portfolio.

About You:
- Strong experience in sheet metal design, fabrication methods and manufacturing processes.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering, Industrial Design or a related discipline, with 2+ years’ experience in product development, mechanical design, automotive or manufacturing engineering.
- Demonstrated experience developing products from concept through to production, including creating CAD models (SolidWorks preferred), engineering drawings, BOMs and technical documentation.
- Sound understanding of mechanical engineering principles, structural design, manufacturing processes and Design for Manufacture/Assembly (DFM/DFA).
- Ability to perform engineering calculations, analyse test results and contribute to product validation and continuous improvement activities.
