We are seeking a Quality Officer to join the Construction Sciences Quality Team. This role is preferably based in Sydney and will support our NSW operations.
You will play an important part in supporting our laboratories to maintain strong quality systems, meet accreditation requirements and continue delivering testing services to the highest technical and industry standards.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Support laboratories in maintaining an effective Quality Management System to ensure ongoing accreditation, certification and compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 9001 standards.
- Assist NSW laboratories with quality matters in line with contract requirements, regulatory requirements and company quality policies and procedures.
- Support internal audits and liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing reports and quality-related communications for internal stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support during non-conformances, including corrective and preventive actions.
- Travel to laboratories as required to support quality objectives.
Skills, competencies and experience
We are looking for someone with:
- Hands-on Construction Materials Testing experience
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build positive relationships with laboratory teams and operations.
- A practical understanding of quality systems, compliance and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety requirements.
- Certificate III in Laboratory Techniques or higher, desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Australian citizenship, permanent residency or long-term unrestricted work rights in Australia.
