About the Role
This role is mostly field-based, where you’ll be getting stuck into a mix of service work, including breakdowns and call-outs when needed. You’ll also carry out preventative maintenance and be involved in new installations. You’ll be working across a range of industries like marine, manufacturing, industrial, mining, and mobile equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and repair of a broad range of industrial hydraulic systems
- Conduct site and field base diagnostic troubleshooting
- Work autonomously or in a team as required
- Conduct preventative maintenance and new item installations
- Complete service and job reports
Skills and Qualifications
- Trade qualified mechanical fitter or plant mechanic with fluid power skills
- 3 to 5 years of technical hydraulic experience
- An understanding of interpreting mechanical or hydraulic schematic designs
- Have sound verbal and written communication skills
- Current Australian drivers licence
- Have a safety first approach to all that you do
