- Senior technical role embedded in live operations
- Create a legacy through strong operational performance and circular economy outcomes
- Flexible and supportive working options and team culture
Imagine applying your technical judgement where it truly matters, helping a critical operating plant run at its best while solving meaningful engineering challenges every day.
This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in taking a wastewater and waste-to-energy facility from transition into full operational maturity, applying your expertise to strengthen reliability, safety and day-to-day performance from day one.
You’ll work across biological treatment, digestion and biogas-to-energy systems, using data, modelling and operational insight to improve plant outcomes over time.
You’ll directly shape compliance outcomes, energy efficiency and resource recovery while setting a new benchmark for operational excellence.
As a senior technical engineer within Operations, you’ll lead improvement initiatives, resolve key process issues and turn performance data into clear, practical actions that support better operation and maintenance of the plant.
From biogas production to SCADA-based performance monitoring, your expertise will support operators and leaders to get the best out of the plant. You’ll also help strengthen mature operational practices through standardised procedures and robust gas and process safety frameworks.
Tertiary qualified, you’re a senior treatment or process engineer, or similar, with strong operational experience and a passion for optimisation.
With a systems-thinking mindset grounded in operations, you combine engineering fundamentals, plant knowledge and data to solve real-world problems. You’re comfortable making sound technical decisions in live environments and balancing safety, risk and performance with confidence.
Known for your clarity, credibility and practical approach, you work effectively with operators, maintenance teams, contractors and technical specialists, and help build capability across teams.
Drawing on your qualifications in chemical or process engineering, you’re motivated by the opportunity to contribute to sustainability, emissions reduction and circular economy outcomes in a technically demanding environment.
