Job Summary
We are seeking an Insurance Underwriting Assistant to support underwriting activities, process insurance documentation, and maintain accurate policy records. The ideal candidate will assist underwriters with risk evaluation, administrative tasks, and efficient processing of insurance applications.
Responsibilities
- Assist underwriters with reviewing and processing insurance applications.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain underwriting documents and records.
- Verify policy information and ensure data accuracy.
- Support risk assessment and policy administration activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams, agents, and clients regarding documentation requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and policy information.
- Prepare reports and update underwriting systems.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
- Experience in insurance, underwriting support, administration, or a similar role is an advantage.
- Knowledge of insurance processes and documentation is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data management systems.
Pay: $76,800.00 per year
