Volcan Joinery is an established Chinese-Australian joinery company located in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. We specialise in high-quality cabinetry and custom joinery projects. With a stable project pipeline, well-structured workflow, and a collaborative team culture, we are expanding our design team due to continued business growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher preferred) in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in cabinetry design and the custom joinery industry, with the intention to build a long-term career in this field (industry experience preferred but not essential).
- Sensitivity to structure, measurements, and detail, with strong problem-solving and learning capabilities.
- Familiarity with basic design and drafting software, or the ability to learn quickly (experience with SketchUp or Revit is advantageous).
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to communicate effectively.
- Stable working attitude and willingness to work collaboratively within the project team.
- Must be 1-2 years of work experience in joinery or relevant experience.
- Must hold a valid Australian work visa.
- Must be able to communicate in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) due to internal team and project coordination requirements.
