The Role
The Property & Leasing Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and administration of Anglicare Southern Queensland’s leased property portfolio across Southern Queensland, including commercial offices and residential accommodation properties.
Reporting to the Strategic Property Manager, this role supports the delivery of property outcomes by coordinating occupancy requirements, leasing transactions, lease renewals, landlord and agent relationships, lease administration, and associated property governance activities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate commercial and residential leasing activities across the ASQ property portfolio.
- Coordinate lease renewals, rent reviews, market reviews, option exercises and lease expiry processes.
- Source, evaluate, negotiate and complete new leases and accommodation solutions to meet operational requirements.
- Liaise with landlords, managing agents, solicitors and internal stakeholders regarding leasing matters.
- Coordinate tenancy commencement, occupancy transition and lease expiry activities across the portfolio.
- Act as the primary coordination point between landlords, agents, contractors and internal ASQ stakeholders regarding fit out, relocation, reinstatement, make-good and associated tenancy transition activities.
- Facilitate coordination between internal property, maintenance, project and operational teams to support fit out and make-good works associated with leasing activities.
- Coordinate property-related matters requiring internal ASQ input or approval.
- Support operational teams with residential property-related coordination and communication as required.
What you will bring to the role
- Current National Police Check (or ability to attain)
- Current Driver Licence
- Degree or tertiary qualification in Property, Business, Real Estate or related discipline and/or equivalent relevant industry experience
- Demonstrated experience in commercial and/or residential property leasing coordination, property management or related property administration functions
- Experience coordinating lease transactions and managing lease administration processes
- Experience working with external stakeholders including landlords, property owners, real estate agents and solicitors
- Demonstrated understanding of lease administration processes, including lease renewals, option exercises, rent reviews, critical lease date management and property documentation management.
Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of credentials prior to offer.
