This role leads workforce strategy and operations across icare's Technology function - managing supply and demand across the whole workforce, and making sure capability, capacity and delivery outcomes line up with organisational priorities.
About the role
You'll own how Technology resources its work - the strategy, the governance and the resourcing models that keep the right skills in the right place as priorities shift.
You'll manage supply and demand across a blended workforce of permanent, contingent and partner resources, build the planning frameworks that connect delivery pipeline to capability and capacity, and act as the key workforce advisor to the GM Technology, Delivery and Operations.
It's a role for someone who can think in models and frameworks but stays close enough to the delivery reality to keep them working.

- Key workforce advisor to the GM Technology, Delivery and Operations
What you'll do
- Lead strategic workforce planning so capability, capacity and delivery outcomes align to demand and organisational priorities
- Own an integrated workforce strategy across permanent, contingent and partner resources, spanning engineering, delivery, business analysis, project and change management and agile capabilities
- Drive scalable resourcing models that flex delivery resources across initiatives, platforms and agile teams as priorities change
- Establish governance, processes and controls for workforce planning, resource management, time allocation, financial tracking and operational reporting
- Lead capability uplift through strategic capability planning, succession planning, skills management and development pathways
- Partner with delivery leads to read pipeline demand and future capability needs, and shape workforce strategy proactively
- Optimise workforce composition - balancing permanent and contingent resources for cost efficiency, capability coverage and delivery agility
- Lead and develop the teams responsible for technology workforce management
What you'll bring
- 10+ years in technology workforce management, resource planning or operations leadership within large, complex organisations
- Proven experience in workforce supply and demand planning, including mixed models across permanent, contingent and partner resources
- A track record designing and implementing scalable resourcing and operating models for agile and technology delivery environments
- Experience establishing workforce governance frameworks - resource allocation, financial tracking, reporting and operational controls
- The ability to influence strategic decisions through data-driven insight and workforce analytics, with advanced skills in workforce planning and data tools (Excel, Power BI or equivalent)
