Responsibilities:
Complete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
Maintain store staff by training employees
Maintain store staff job results by coaching and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results
Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements
Ensure the availability of merchandise and services by approving contracts; maintaining inventories
Secure merchandise by implementing security systems and measures
Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment
Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control
Our Shift Supervisors are our greatest asset. In this role you can expect to work through a diverse range of responsibilities that include assisting customers, replenishing shelves and displays, and maintaining a clean work environment. You can also expect to work across many departments such as Produce, Bakery, Deli, Lotto and Registers.
Suitable applicants should have:
Retail experience or a desire to learn.
Ability to participate in manual handling tasks.
Able to work as a part of a great team.
Availability from Monday to Sunday with shifts that may start early or finish late.
