We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our operations team. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring inventory is handled accurately, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
The successful candidate will be organized, dependable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming deliveries
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (training provided where required)
- Perform stock counts and inventory checks
- Label, organize, and store products appropriately
- Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
- Load and unload deliveries
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation
- Work closely with warehouse supervisors and logistics staff
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
- Perform additional warehouse duties as required
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not essential
- Ability to lift and move products safely
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Forklift licence is an advantage but not required
