The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis (25 hours a week). This is a great opportunity for someone looking to return to the workforce or seeking a flexible role that offers greater balance.
Working closely with our Finance Administrator, you will provide essential support across accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general finance administration, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our Finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment allocation, and following up outstanding balances
- Provide timely and professional support to finance related queries
- Support accounts payable activities, ensuring supplier invoices and payments are processed accurately and efficiently
- Reconcile employee expenses and company credit cards, maintaining accurate and compliant financial records
- Assist with month-end activities, helping to ensure reporting deadlines are met and financial information remains up to date
- Contribute to the smooth running of the finance function through general administration, process improvements, and ad hoc projects
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role within an accounts or finance department, particularly in Accounts Receivable
- Strong numerical and data entry skills, with attention to detail
- Ideal but not essential is experience in a multi-entity & multi-currency business
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience using accounting software, particularly Xero
- Excellent customer service skills.
