Lumina Online is a growing psychology practice delivering evidence-based psychological services to children, adolescents and adults through secure telehealth. We support NDIS participants, private clients and individuals accessing services through Medicare and other funding pathways.
As our practice continues to grow, we are expanding our service delivery to include in-home and school-based appointments in selected locations.
We are seeking a confident and experienced Registered Psychologist to join our team as an independent contractor. This opportunity offers the flexibility to manage your own schedule while enjoying consistent referrals, comprehensive administrative support and the opportunity to be part of a supportive, collaborative team.
About the Role
You will provide assessment and therapeutic intervention to children, adolescents and adults presenting with a range of developmental, behavioural and mental health concerns.
Areas of support may include:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Trauma
- Emotional regulation
- Behavioural challenges
- Social skills development
- Self-esteem and confidence
- Parenting support
- Intellectual disability
- Functional Capacity Assessments
- NDIS reports and review documentation
Appointments are currently delivered via secure telehealth, with opportunities to provide in-home and school-based services as Lumina Online expands.
You may choose to work with children, adults, or both, depending on your experience and interests.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current General Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- A minimum of 2 years' experience practising as a registered psychologist
- Confidence in independently managing a varied caseload
- Medicare provider number (or eligibility to obtain one) preferred but not essential
- Current Working with Children Check (where applicable)
- Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
- ABN (or willingness to obtain one)
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle (for future community appointments)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a supportive multidisciplinary team
Experience working with NDIS participants, neurodevelopmental conditions, children and families is highly regarded.
Remuneration
- Independent contractor arrangement
- $130–$145 per billable hour, depending on experience
- Flexible days and hours based on your availability
