About the role:
We are currently looking for a Resource Allocator to join the Ground Operations team in Melbourne.
Successful candidates will receive training to fulfil the role and meet set expectations. The role operates on a rotating roster, seven (7) days a week with varying hours.
Position Overview;

Determining and obtaining aircraft resources and updating worksheets in line with airlines' Service Level Agreements

Actioning sick leave, personal leave and other absences as advised by the Service Delivery Supervisor or Manager

Allocating available shifts through a fair, transparent process within budget
-
Actioning shift swaps per standard operating procedures
-
Preparing accurate worksheets and crew sheets for Service Delivery Supervisors and Managers
-
Proactively managing staff allocation for disruptions and delays
-
Maintaining staff and business confidentiality
-
Ensuring rosters and allocations comply with the Enterprise Agreement, Award and fatigue management requirements

Verifying staff hold current qualifications and certifications before task allocation
-
Liaising with airline customers and operational teams on resourcing changes and SLA compliance
About you:
To be successful in this role, you must have:

Unrestricted working rights in Australia

Ability to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)

Availability to work a 24/7 rotating roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays

Working knowledge of or experience in Ground Operations

Strong computer skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel and Power Bi

Ability to work autonomously and follow procedures

Ability to work under pressure with accuracy and attention to detail

Punctuality and reliability

Ability to work to strict time frames

Experience using workforce management or rostering systems highly regarded
