Workforce Engine is recruiting on behalf of a Brisbane-based residential renovation company specialising in home renovations, kitchen and bathroom upgrades, home extensions and general building projects.
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret building plans and specifications
- Measure, cut and assemble materials and carry out framing, fit-off and general carpentry works
- Install doors, windows, flooring, cladding and other building components
- Complete renovation, repair and construction work to a high standard
- Ensure compliance with building and workplace safety requirements
Skills and Experience:
- Trade qualification in Carpentry (Certificate III or equivalent) preferred
- Applicants without formal qualifications are also encouraged to apply if they have at least 3 years of relevant carpentry experience
- Experience in residential construction, renovations and extensions
- Ability to work from plans and specifications with minimal supervision
- Construction White Card
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work well within a team
