We are seeking a reliable and proactive Maintenance Person to join our busy team on site.
This hands-on role is key to ensuring our sites, equipment, and surrounding areas are maintained in a safe, clean, and fully operational condition.

You will play an important role in supporting day-to-day operations by carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Conduct routine site inspections to identify maintenance needs
Perform general building maintenance (walls, doors, floors, lighting, fixtures)
Carry out some preventative maintenance on plant and equipment (mechanical knowledge advantageous)
Identify equipment faults and coordinate repairs
Maintain safe, clean, and organised maintenance areas
Ensure site grounds, walkways, and outdoor areas are tidy and hazard-free
Liaise with external contractors for specialised works
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
Promptly report hazards, risks, and maintenance issues
Support safe site conditions including racking, exits, signage, and PPE compliance
Respond to urgent repair requests as required
Proven experience in a similar maintenance or handyman role
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage priorities
Good understanding of workplace health & safety practices
Physically capable of performing manual tasks
Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented
Metal fabrication experience preferred
