Receptionist / RTO Administration Coordinator (Weekend Position)
Location: Melbourne CBD
Employment Type: Part-Time (Saturday & Sunday)
Hours: Approximately 9:00am – 5:00pm
A leading Melbourne CBD RTO and CRICOS-registered education provider is seeking a friendly, organised, and professional Receptionist / RTO Administration Coordinator to join our team on weekends.
This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative and customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced education environment. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for students, visitors, and staff while supporting the day-to-day administration of the college.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to enquiries
- Welcome students, visitors, and stakeholders
- Collect fees and process payments
- Assist with class scheduling and timetable administration
- Respond to student requests and provide administrative support
- Prepare certificates and student documentation
- Maintain accurate student records and databases
- Support general office administration and compliance activities
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of administration, reception, or customer service experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Professional presentation and a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Highly Regarded
- Experience working within an RTO, education, training, or student services environment
- Experience using student management systems
- International education or CRICOS experience
Training Provided Applicants are not required to have experience across every aspect of the role. Comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate in any areas where additional support is required. We are seeking someone with the right attitude, strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
