Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our Manufacturing team and play an important role in supporting the safe and efficient operation of our production environment.

About the role:
As an Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving our plant and equipment. You’ll be responsible for preventative maintenance, fault finding, repairs and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
Working closely with Production and Engineering teams, you’ll help ensure our manufacturing operations run safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
What you’ll be doing:
- Carrying out preventative and routine maintenance on plant equipment.
- Diagnosing faults and completing mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Responding to equipment breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, manuals and schematics.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis.
- Working with Production and Engineering teams to improve equipment reliability.
- Following all WHS policies and safe work practices.
What we’re looking for:
- Certificate III or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent trade qualification).
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Good understanding of WHS requirements.
- Ability to work shifts and participate in after-hours callouts when required.
Highly regarded:
- Dual Mechanical and Electrical trade qualifications.
- PLC fault-finding and minor programming experience.
- Experience using CMMS systems.
- Welding and fabrication skills.
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLC systems.
