Caledonia SA Pty Ltd has a number of current and future exciting projects in Tasmania, and as a result are seeking Scaffolders for our Hobart metro sites. With opportunities for O/T and allowances available throughout 2026!
Caledonia is a modern industrial services company serving the industrial, mining, energy, domestic and commercial construction sectors.
We are currently engaged in many high-profile major project works and are contracted to some of the largest players in the energy, industrial and construction sectors.
Only suitable skilled and committed Scaffolders with a minimum of 2 years' experience and the relevant High Risk Work License will be considered.
Duties Include:
- Erect, modify and dismantle scaffolding as per Australian Standards and job specifications
- Completion of risk assessments before each task and where the scope of work has changed
- Creation and compliance with JHA's/SWMS
- Check levels in scaffolding structures
- Participate in and contribute to daily pre-starts, weekly tool box meetings and other health and safety initiatives and training
Mandatory skills and experience:
- Advanced/Intermediate Scaffolders High Risk Work License (together with a minimum of two years work experience)
- Working at Heights (within the last 2 years)
- White/Blue Card
- Drivers License
- Confined Space (within the last 2 years)
- All tickets and licenses must be current
All candidates will be required to undertake a comprehensive pre-employment medical and participate in an ongoing drug and alcohol screening process.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $79,500.00 – $85,000.00 per year
