The Role
Based from our Darra depot, you'll be responsible for safely delivering and collecting a wide variety of equipment and machinery for our valued customers.
You'll work across construction sites, industrial facilities, commercial premises and customer locations, ensuring every delivery is completed safely, efficiently and professionally.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, takes ownership of their work and represents their employer with pride.
Your Responsibilities
- Safely load, secure, transport and unload machinery, access equipment, vehicles and general freight
- Complete deliveries and collections across South East Queensland and surrounding regions
- Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects
- Ensure all loads are restrained in accordance with legal requirements and company procedures
- Comply with customer site rules and workplace health and safety requirements
- Maintain a clean and professional presentation of your truck
- Complete electronic paperwork and delivery documentation accurately
- Communicate effectively with our operations team to meet customer timeframes
About You
We're looking for someone who is dependable, safety-conscious and committed to delivering excellent service.
Ideally you'll have:
- Current MR or HR Licence (HC licence advantageous but not essential)
- Experience operating tilt tray trucks or similar heavy vehicles
- A good driving history
- Sound knowledge of Brisbane and South East Queensland roads
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Commitment to safe work practices
- Reasonable level of physical fitness for occasional manual tasks
- Australian working rights
Previous experience transporting machinery or access equipment is highly regarded, however we are happy to provide training for applicants with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
