About the Opportunity
SWSLHD is recognised as a leading provider of education, training, and organisational development initiatives to a health workforce of over 16,000 staff. Our Education and Organisational Development Service (EODS) supports the achievement of the LHDs strategic goals, with a focus on supporting our staff to positively transform how our patients and communities experience our organisation and services.
The Staff Experience Lead is a new role that has been established to drive SWSLHD’s commitment to being a great place to work for people who are seeking to provide safe, sustainable care for healthier communities. It forms part of the District’s Organisational Development, Culture and Diversity (ODCD) team – a highly collaborative business unit devoted to working with, and through, SWSLHD’s leaders to develop the capabilities, mindsets and behaviours that enable high performance.
What You'll be Doing
The primary purpose of this role is to develop a deep understanding of how our staff experience different stages of the employee lifecycle, and lead strategic initiatives designed to improve staff experience in a way that aligns with our Strategic Plan, Workforce Plan and relevant divisional strategies such as our Leadership Strategy, Innovation Strategy and Culture Roadmap.
The Staff Experience Lead will also be required to provide advice and support to improvement projects being run across the ODCD team to ensure alignment between how we develop our leaders, the cultural expectations we set and the way we translate this into positive experiences across the employee lifecycle. We do this to create a workplace in which people are encouraged and enabled to work Better Together so that they may lead the provision of safe, sustainable care for healthier communities.
In short – if you are a problem solver who loves leading collaborative projects with a diverse array of stakeholders to drive process improvements and create great places to work, this may just be the job for you!
