Active Office Furniture is a Melbourne-based supplier of office furniture to corporate and commercial clients. We are looking for a reliable delivery assistant to help our driver with deliveries across Melbourne every Wednesday.
About the Role
You will assist our driver in delivering office furniture such as desks, chairs and storage units to customers across Melbourne.
This role involves helping load furniture into the van, assisting with deliveries at customer sites, and occasionally helping with basic assembly if required.
Responsibilities
- Assist driver with loading and unloading furniture
- Deliver office furniture to offices and commercial sites
- Help carry items into buildings and offices
- Assist with basic furniture assembly if required
- Ensure deliveries are completed safely and professionally
Requirements
- Physically fit (some lifting involved)
- Reliable and punctual
- Friendly and professional with customers
- Ability to work in a small team
- Previous delivery or warehouse experience is helpful but not required
