- Conduct quality and hygiene inspections across processing and dispatch areas
- Monitor GMP, GHP, food safety and quality standards on the floor
- Maintain accurate QA records for audits and regulatory compliance
- Identify non‑conformances and drive corrective and preventive actions
- Support audits, product verification and microbiological testing
- Provide QA guidance and training to production teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement and strong food safety culture
Skills and Experiences:
What you'll bring:
- Experience in meat processing or a food manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, GHP and food safety principles
- Understanding of AUSMEAT, DAFF export and GFSI requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record‑keeping skills
- Confident written and verbal communication abilities
- Problem‑solving mindset with a proactive approach to QA issues
- Ability to build positive working relationships across teams
