Lenzo are seeking a qualified permanent full time Solid Plasterer to join their team.
About the role
- Permanent Full-time position
· Immediate start
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000 (depending on qualifications and experience of the candidate)
Skill and experience:
· Relevant trade qualification Certificate III in Solid Plastering or equivalent
· At least three years of experience as Plasterer
· Proven experience with rendering, internal plastering, setting angles, screeding walls desired
· Work independently and as a part of team on site.
· Ability to produce high quality finished works.
· Strong attention to detail
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key responsibilities :
· Ability to read site plans, job specifications, etc.
· Identifying plasterboard layouts and install insultation and vapour barriers as per job requirements.
· Determine tools required for plastering and perform job with minimum wastage.
· Mixing plaster using the appropriate products and tools.
· Apply solid plaster to walls, ceilings and other surfaces as required.
· Carry out rendering task as required for the job.
· Using float, apply render and finish to flat and curved solid plastering surfaces
· Creating decorative textures in finishing coats
· Execute masonry reproduction and restoration work on older buildings
· Securing corner beads, cutting, and fixing paper-faced cornices.
· Coating joins and nail holes.
· Maintain a clean and safe work site at all times.
