We are a leading hospitality provider located along the iconic Great Northern Highway in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.
We are currently seeking motivated and experienced Conference and Event Coordinator to join our team.
The main duties include, but are not limited to:
- Plan and coordinate conferences, meetings, and events from start to finish.
- Communicate with clients to understand event requirements and preferences.
- Select and book venues, catering, and other event services.
- Arrange event schedules, agendas, and timelines.
- Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts, and control costs.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Oversee event setup, decorations, and technical requirements.
- Supervise event staff and assign responsibilities.
- Manage post-event feedback, reports, and evaluations.
- Maintain records of event details, expenses, and contacts.
- Promote events through social media, email marketing, and partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service and support before, during, and after events.
The suitable applicants should:
- Have minimum of two-year relevant working experience.
- Strong event planning, coordination, and time management skills.
- Excellent client relationship management and communication abilities.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills for smooth event execution.
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment (during the season).
- Vendor and contractor coordination to ensure high-quality service delivery.
The employer will offer:
- A full-time contract for at least 3 years, extendable for further term.
- An annual salary of $75,000 - $80,000 (negotiable) + superannuation will be offered to the successful candidates with relevant qualification and experience.
