Immersion MMA Ringwood is looking for a Membership Advisor to join our friendly team.
We’re an established MMA academy with a strong focus on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai and Mixed Martial Arts, developing students of all levels while also supporting a highly competitive competition team. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside and learn from a World Champion BJJ practitioner in a supportive, energetic environment.

About the role
As our Membership Advisor, you’ll be one of the friendly faces of Immersion MMA.
You’ll be responsible for creating a welcoming experience for our members and helping new students take their first step into the gym.
Your role will include:
- Welcoming members and visitors
- Managing the reception area and keeping the front desk organised
- Responding to membership enquiries
- Following up with prospective members and organising trials
- Helping new students understand our memberships and training options
- Converting enquiries and trials into memberships
- Supporting member retention and engagement
- Assisting with general administration and day-to-day gym operations
- Helping create a positive, welcoming atmosphere within the club
- Supporting events, promotions and community activities
- Keeping the gym environment clean, organised and professional
What we're looking for
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable and confident speaking with people
- Naturally positive and energetic
- Comfortable having conversations about memberships and sales
- Organised and reliable
- A great communicator
- Comfortable working independently while being part of a small team
- Passionate about creating a great customer experience
- Interested in health, fitness or martial arts : BJJ/MMA experience is a bonus, but not essential

Hours: Flexible / up to 38 hours per week
Pay: $32 per hour + commission / depending on experience
