About us:
Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Services is responsible for delivering Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Services throughout the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service and for supporting other Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Services in the surrounding Hospital and Health Services of Cape York, Torres Strait Northern Peninsula Area. Its primary objective is to ensure access to a comprehensive range of treatment and support services, clinical treatment, rehabilitation, disability support, as well as early intervention, and mental health prevention and promotion.

About your opportunity:
Demonstrated communication skills to effectively liaise with other staff and relate to clients and the public in a sensitive, confidential and courteous manner.
Provide assistance to MHAODS staff within a clinical team structure to ensure priority tasks are completed and deadlines met.
Participate in all activities undertaken by MHAODS including team meetings and quality assurance activities, individual development plan and providing training activities.
