Responsibilities
These positions will support the preparation and painting of the new Next Generation G Class Tram projects.
1. Qualified Spray Painter
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and paint tram components and car bodies
- Apply coatings to required quality and safety standards
- Work as part of a skilled manufacturing team
Essential Requirements:
- Relevant trade qualification, including one of the following: Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology OR Certificate III in Aircraft Surface Finishing OR Certificate III in Automotive Vehicle Body
- Pay Rate: $62.40 per hour + Super + Penalties
2. Trades Assistant – Sandblaster
Key Responsibilities:
- Sandblast tram bodies and components.
- Prepare surfaces for painting and finishing.
- Support the paint shop team in achieving production targets.
Pay Rate: $50.70 per hour + Super + Penalties.

Your Profile
Onboarding Requirement: Successful candidates must be willing to undergo and pass a CAT 3 Rail Medical and National Police Check following a successful interview.
Contract Duration: 6 months with potential for extension
Location: Dandenong, VIC
Shift: Monday to Friday, 6am - 2:30pm
