We are seeking a full-time Lead ICT Support Technician to join our Melbourne office. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the smooth operation, reliability and performance of ICT systems and technology infrastructure within our Melbourne branch and providing technical support for client events.
The base salary is $75,000–$85,000 per annum plus superannuation, commensurate with skills and experience.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, configure and maintain ICT hardware, software, networks and systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues.
- Deploy and configure Point of Sale (POS) systems, iPad-based devices and event IT infrastructure.
- Configure and modify existing system settings to meet user and client requirements.
- Install and support networking systems and Audio-Visual equipment.
- Provide on-site technical support during live business and corporate events.
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients to resolve ICT-related issues.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot end-user issues.
- Monitor ICT systems and applications to identify and resolve operational issues.
- Document and manage ICT incidents and prepare technical reports.
- Support LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN and firewall infrastructure.
- Support Microsoft 365 and cloud and on-premises systems.
- Provide end-user training and technical guidance.
Skills and Experience Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in ICT or a related discipline.
- At least one year of full-time experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and providing technical support for ICT hardware, software and network systems.
- Knowledge and practical experience with networking technologies, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN and firewalls.
- Experience installing and supporting Audio-Visual equipment and event IT infrastructure would be highly regarded.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
