Red Knight Films Systems is expanding its technical production pipeline. We are looking for a organized, detail-oriented Digital Media Assets Specialist to manage, catalog, and secure our expanding library of high-resolution film footage, audio tracks, and digital post-production elements. This role bridges the gap between our active production crews and our post-production editing suites.
The Work Lifecycle:
- Managing the complete ingest, metadata tagging, and archiving process for raw film elements and production deliverables.
- Optimizing local and cloud-based Storage Area Networks (SAN/NAS) to ensure post-production teams have seamless, high-speed access to project files.
- Verifying data integrity, file formats, and color space profiles against rigid industry delivery specifications.
- Automating media proxy creation workflows and managing secure asset distribution to external VFX and audio houses.
- Maintaining strict access control logs and disaster recovery backups for all active and archival intellectual property.
What Fits This Role:
- Media Management Background: 2+ years of experience handling digital asset management (DAM) or media operations within a film studio, creative agency, or post-production environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep familiarity with professional post-production codecs (ProRes, DNxHR, RAW formats) and asset management software.
- Infrastructure Familiarity: Practical understanding of high-speed storage network architectures and cloud archival platforms (such as AWS Glacier or Backblaze).
- Precision and Flow: A meticulous approach to file naming conventions, folder structures, and metadata organization.
- Right to Work: Candidates must possess full, unrestricted legal working rights within Australia to be considered for this Perth office location.
