Do you believe that recovery is about more than just physical healing? We do. As an Injury Strategist/Rehab Consultant, you won't just manage "cases"—you’ll be the bridge between a life-altering injury and a successful return to community and work.
We are a dynamic and growing organisation seeking passionate accredited allied health professionals to work to join our energetic team . The suitable candidates would apply their expertise to support individuals recovering from injury, helping them navigate the complex systems and return to meaningful activities/ employment. You’ll manage diverse portfolios with different conditions across various insurance and government schemes, including workers’ compensation and motor accident claims, NDIS etc whilsts working in a muti-displinary team .
We welcome both experienced professionals and new graduates who are eager to build a rewarding career in the injury management sector. Attractive salary packages will be offered, based on qualifications and relevant experience.
Essential Criteria:
- A degree in Social Work or a related discipline, with eligibility for membership with your own discipline or other relevant professional body.
- Strong understanding of injury management, rehabilitation processes, and psychosocial factors affecting recovery.
- Industry experience (minimum 1 year preferred), although new graduates with strong clinical placements are encouraged to apply.
- Mutilingual is highly regarded but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver injury management services across various jurisdictions (e.g., CTP, WorkCover, Comcare, Life Insurance).
- Holistic case management approach whilst conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop tailored injury management and return-to-work strategies.
- Liaise effectively with insurers, employers, unions, and treating professionals to facilitate recovery and rehabilitation.
- Prepare high-quality reports with clinical recommendations to support case progression.
- Monitor and review recovery plans, ensuring optimal outcomes for clients.
