Modern Viking is looking for a reliable Casual Warehouse Assistant to help pick, pack and dispatch customer orders during busy periods. This is an as-needed casual position. Hours are not guaranteed and may vary depending on order volume. Duties Picking and packing customer orders accurately Checking products for damage or quality issues Preparing products and packaging for dispatch Printing and attaching shipping labels Restocking shelves and organising inventory Assisting with deliveries and stock counts Keeping the warehouse clean, safe and organised What We’re Looking For Reliable, punctual and trustworthy Strong attention to detail Able to follow instructions and work independently after training Comfortable using a computer for basic fulfilment tasks Physically capable of safely standing, packing and moving boxes Reliable transport to and from Beresfield Previous warehouse or pick-and-pack experience is helpful but not essential. Hours Flexible weekday daytime shifts are available between 7:00 am and 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Applicants can provide their weekday availability. Shifts will be offered and agreed in advance based on business demand. Shifts will generally be a minimum of four hours. There may be weeks with multiple shifts and quieter weeks with no shifts. Pay Casual award rates plus superannuation. Pay will be based on the applicable award, classification and legal requirements.
