About the role
We are seeking a creative and self-motivated Content Creator to develop engaging content that promotes our electrical services, strengthens our brand, and generates customer enquiries. This is a full-time position based at our office in Port Adelaide, South Australia, with regular on-site work at client locations across Adelaide to capture content.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, create, and publish original marketing content (photography, videography, graphics, and written copy) showcasing the company's electrical projects, services, and team.
- Manage and grow the company's social media presence (including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn), including scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and responding to enquiries.
- Develop and execute content calendars and digital marketing campaigns aligned with business goals and seasonal demand for electrical services.
- Produce short-form video content, including before-and-after project showcases, educational electrical safety content, and behind-the-scenes footage from job sites.
- Write and edit website copy, blog articles, email newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Monitor and analyse content performance using analytics tools, and report on engagement, reach, and lead generation to management.
- Manage paid advertising campaigns (e.g. Meta Ads, Google Ads) within allocated budgets.
- Maintain and update the company website and Google Business Profile to support local SEO.
- Coordinate with electricians and management to identify content opportunities and ensure all content complies with licensing, safety, and advertising standards for the electrical trade.
About you
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, media, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum 1 year experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing
- Proficiency in photo and video editing software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut) and graphic design tools (e.g. Canva)
- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills
- Experience with social media analytics and paid advertising platforms
- Ability to work independently and visit job sites across Adelaide (driver's licence preferred)
- Experience marketing trade or construction services will be highly regarded

Our services include lighting and power installations, house rewiring, switchboard and RCD upgrades, emergency and exit lighting, testing and tagging, and 24/7 emergency callouts.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $96,000.00 per year
