Front of House Manager – Croydon | Mix of Days & Nights
Our busy restaurant in Croydon is looking for an experienced and energetic Front of House Manager to join our fast-paced and high-volume restaurant. We are seeking a passionate hospitality professional who thrives under pressure, leads by example and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences every day.

About the Role
As Front of House Manager, you will play a key role in the daily operation of the restaurant, supporting the management team and leading our front-of-house crew to deliver outstanding service standards.
You will be responsible for maintaining a positive culture, ensuring operational excellence and creating memorable experiences for every guest who walks through our doors.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership
- Lead and motivate the front-of-house team during service.
- Maintain exceptional service standards and guest experiences.
- Train, coach and develop team members.
- Foster a positive and high-performing culture.
Guest Experience
- Greet and assist guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure every guest leaves with a memorable experience.
- Maintain Royal Stacks' premium hospitality standards.
Operations
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations and service flow.
- Work closely with kitchen and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are maintained throughout the venue.
- Manage opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain front-of-house systems and operational processes.
Stock Control & Ordering
- Complete daily ordering requirements.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels and par levels.
- Monitor stock usage and minimise wastage.
- Ensure all beverage, packaging and front-of-house consumables are adequately stocked.
Compliance & OH&S
- Ensure food safety and workplace health and safety standards are adhered to at all times.
- Maintain a safe environment for guests and team members.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist with incident reporting and risk management processes.
Head Office Liaison
- Work closely with the Royal Stacks Head Office team.
- Assist with the implementation of promotions, campaigns and operational initiatives.
- Communicate effectively regarding restaurant performance, stock requirements and guest feedback.
Community Engagement & Activations
- Act as the key contact for local sporting clubs and community groups sponsored by Royal Stacks Croydon.
- Coordinate and manage off-site activations, events and sponsorship opportunities.
- Build strong relationships within the local community and represent the Royal Stacks brand with pride.
About You
You will have:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within hospitality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- A hands-on leadership style and a passion for hospitality.
- Experience with stock control and ordering (preferred).
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
- Availability to work a mix of days, nights and weekends.
- RSA certification is advantageous but not essential.
