Be a Superhero Sports Coach to hundreds of preschool children in Sydney's Canada Bay/Canterbury Area!
We are looking to recruit a new Lead Coach to join our coaching team. Must be available during the week specifilcally, Wednesday morning and afternoon, Thursday afternoon and essentially Saturday mornings. It's all about having FUN at Little Kickers, while also improving children's listening skills, social interaction, and sense of well-being along with number work and colour recognition. Our programs operate for children aged 18 months to 8th Birthday.
Through Soccer we use fun games to inspire children's imaginations. Our sessions run in the mornings so we are a perfect part time coaching position for Sports Coaches, Child Care Workers, Students or Parents looking for extra income. Having experience in a relevant field like teaching, PE or Exercise Science would be an advantage however having a BIG PERSONALITY , great at interacting and engaging with small children, getting down to their level is essential. Maintaining a conversation about Dinosaurs, Lions and Tigers is in the job description.
Skills and Attributes:
- Ability to coach Pre School Children in a fun and engaging manner
- Able to inteact and be present in the room with groups of children
- Punctual and reliable,
- Strong communication skills and room presence
- Attention to detail
- Possession of a full driving license and access to own transport essential (as you may be required to carry kit to a venue)
- Physically Fit
Education & Training :
- Previous experience working in pre-school / childcare or children's entertainment will be highly regarded.
- Working With Children Check essential
- Previous club coaching or sports club team member preferred but not essential (full training is provided)
You must be available to work weekday and Saturday Mornings. Living in the local area is highly regarded.
Access to a car is essential as you may be required to travel to different venues and carry soccer kit.
