About The Role
Reporting to the Clinical Manager, you'll take the lead in planning and delivering an engaging lifestyle program that enriches the lives of our residents. You'll guide a team of Lifestyle Assistants, helping them create moments that matter through social, recreational, and wellness-based activities. You'll also be a key connector with the broader community - coordinating entertainment, liaising with volunteers, and building strong ties with groups such as schools, religious leaders, and service clubs.
You’ll be involved in:

Welcoming new residents and completing their social profiles and activity plans

Creating monthly calendars and newsletters

Developing and reviewing activities by consulting with residents to ensure that activities align with residents’ interests and reflect resident choice

Supporting staff development and participating in continuous improvement initiatives
What You’ll Bring
-
Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
-
Demonstrated experience in diversional therapy or lifestyle programming
-
1-2 years’ experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory role
-
A current National Police Check, current “C” class driver’s license and confidence in transporting residents
-
Solid understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards, Code of Conduct, and Charter of Aged Care Rights
-
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a small team

Enthusiasm and creativity to enrich the lives of our residents

A compassionate approach and empathy for older people and their families
-
A high level of self-motivation, initiative and the ability to work without supervision
