About the Role
Based in Western Sydney you will be providing support to clients that is flexible, individualised and facilitates client involvement in daily activities including living skills.
As a Support Worker you will provide assistance to individuals with physical, developmental or cognitive disabilities. You will help individuals perform basic hygiene and personal care tasks, assisting with daily living and transportation for individuals to appointments, shopping or outings.
In addition, you will assist in developing and implementing client-specific programs to help these individuals build strong social skills and encourage independence whenever possible. You will be providing support in clients’ homes and within community settings.
About you
- Completed Certificate III and IV Disability Services, Cert IV in Aged Care or Cert IV in Community Services
- Currently studying, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy or related allied health disciplines
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current First Aid & CPR certification.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekdays, weekends and evenings.
- A valid and current driver’s license and access to a reliable car.
