About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Garage Door Installer to join our growing local team. You will be responsible for the safe assembly, installation, and servicing of residential and commercial garage doors, gates, and automated opener systems. Both experienced tradespeople and enthusiastic beginners willing to learn the trade are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must have permanent residency status or equivalent Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely install and assemble various types of garage doors (sectional, roller, and tilt doors).
- Fit and program automated garage door openers and remote systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults, align tracks, and service existing doors.
- Provide excellent customer service and explain basic operation and maintenance to clients.
- Ensure all worksites are left clean, safe, and secure.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, carpentry, or using power and hand tools is highly preferred. (Fully paid, on-the-job training is available for the right candidate).
- Driver’s License: Current valid Australian Driver’s License required.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy items, work at heights, and work in various weather conditions.
- Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
- Construction Induction Card (White Card) is a plus. White Card would be required to be obtained within 90 days if successful.

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
