Kinderlea Preschool is seeking a warm, dedicated Diploma or Certificate III Qualified Educator to provide break-cover within our 3-year-old program (part-time, short-term contract) The position is for Tuesdays and Fridays (during school terms) 12:00pm–3:00pm (flexible for the right applicant if required). The role is for an immediate start (negotiable) until the end of 2026, with the potential for an ongoing opportunity for 2027. Employment is offered under the Victorian Early Childhood Teachers and Educators Agreement (VECTEA), ensuring fair conditions, professional recognition and sector-aligned entitlements. You are an educator who is passionate about early childhood education and is committed to creating a safe learning environment, and warm, responsive relationships with children. You bring: * A Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care * Up to date First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training * Child Protection Training and National Child Safety Training * Valid Working With Children Check * A genuine commitment to play-based, child-led learning * Warm, respectful interactions that support children’s wellbeing and belonging * The ability to work collaboratively within a small, supportive team * Reliability, professionalism and a positive, flexible approach * An understanding of inclusive practice and the VEYLDF * A willingness to contribute to a community-run kindergarten and engage positively with our parent Committee of Management
