Reporting to the General Manager (P&C), the People Operations Manager leads delivery of consistent, high-quality and business‑focused people services across WesTrac. The role provides strategic and operational leadership across core people processes, systems governance and service delivery, ensuring alignment with business priorities, compliance requirements and positive employee experience.
As the functional lead and governance owner for SuccessFactors, the role oversees the employee lifecycle and people change activities, while driving process improvement, system optimisation and consistent ways of working nationally. The role also leads the People Operations and People Systems team, strengthening capability, service quality and stakeholder outcomes.
Roster: Monday – Friday, 8.5-hour days
Location: South Guildford, WA
What You'll Do:
Lead the delivery of consistent, compliant and customer‑focused people services across the full employee lifecycle
Own governance and optimisation of SuccessFactors and related systems, ensuring strong adoption, data integrity and user experience
Drive national standardisation, process improvement and clear ways of working across People Operations
Partner with People & Culture, Payroll, IT and business leaders to deliver integrated services and resolve complex issues
Lead and develop the People Operations and People Systems team, building capability, accountability and service performance
Identify and deliver automation, digital and AI opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen decision‑making
Use data and operational insights to manage risk, identify trends and inform priorities and business outcomes
Skills & Experience:
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline (or equivalent experience); SuccessFactors accreditation or expertise highly regarded
Significant experience in People & Culture, including leadership within People Operations or a shared services environment
Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels, balancing delivery, governance and long‑term planning
Strong knowledge of employment legislation, industrial relations and people processes within a complex or regulated environment
Deep experience with SuccessFactors or similar systems, including governance, optimisation and continuous improvement
Proven track record delivering process improvement, automation and digital or AI initiatives that drive measurable outcomes
Strong stakeholder engagement, commercial acumen and people leadership capability, with the ability to build high‑performing teams and influence at all levels
