Job Description
Woodside Cheese Wrights is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cold Store Operator to join our team.
This is a hands-on role supporting our cold storage and dispatch operations, ensuring product quality, accurate order fulfilment, and smooth day-to-day warehouse activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in refrigerated and temperature-controlled storage and dispatch areas
- Pick, pack, check and dispatch finished products accurately
- Receive and move stock, cartons and packaging materials as required
- Maintain batch, use-by-date and stock rotation accuracy
- Assist with stock control, inventory checks and general warehouse organisation
- Maintain cold chain integrity and food safety standards throughout storage and dispatch
- Perform regular manual handling tasks and occasional forklift use as required
- Support cleaning and hygiene standards within cold storage and dispatch areas
Requirements
- Previous experience in warehouse, dispatch or cold storage operations preferred
- Ability to work in a cold environment and perform regular manual handling tasks
- Forklift licence, or willingness to obtain one
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow stock rotation and batch control processes
- Basic computer skills
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards is preferred

Pay: $57,000.00 – $72,000.00 per year
