The Opportunity
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Melbourne office on a permanent, full-time basis.
You’ll join our Projects, Energy & Infrastructure team and be mentored by experienced Legal Assistants to support the smooth running of the practice. This role offers variety, training and will give you the skills to pursue a fulfilling career in the legal sector.
This role is on-site, based in our CBD office Monday – Friday.
What you’ll do
Keep things running smoothly by managing competing tasks and deadlines
Assist the team with matter management, time recording and monthly billing
Pitch in with business development tasks and assist with organising client and team events
Manage printing tasks, filing and archiving, as well as general document support
Support day to day office operations, with a focus on processing expenses, coordinating meeting room bookings, and handling incoming and outgoing mail

What you’ll bring
Previous experience in an administration role or as a supervisor in retail/hospitality
An organised and detail-oriented approach
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
An ability to manage competing priorities whilst remaining calm and professional
A friendly and collaborative attitude
An innovative mindset, curious about AI and emerging technologies
