Details: An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced finance professional to join the Strategic Finance team within the Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate.
In this leadership role, you will oversee a high-performing team responsible for the management of procurement compliance activities, asset accounting and capital works reporting. You will play a key role in strengthening financial governance, compliance and reporting across the Directorate.
Working collaboratively with business areas within the Directorate, you will support greater understanding and analysis of financial information, strengthen procurement governance and controls, and identify risks and opportunities to enhance the way we work. Through your leadership, you will help deliver innovative solutions that improve efficiency, legislative compliance and organisational outcomes.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or a related field along with professional membership or progress thereto of a peak Australian accounting body such as CPA/CAANZ is highly desirable.

Previous experience working with complex datasets and financial information management systems, in particular TM1, Oracle and CDM would be an advantage.
