We are seeking an experienced and confident Centre Director to lead the day-to-day operations of a well-established early learning service.
This role is best suited to an experienced leader who is confident managing compliance, staff performance, family relationships, occupancy growth, educational quality and overall centre operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading and supporting a team of educators and room leaders
- Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Law and National Regulations
- Managing staffing, rosters, recruitment and team performance
- Building positive relationships with children, families and the local community
- Supporting occupancy growth and family retention
- Leading Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) initiatives and Assessment & Rating preparation
- Maintaining high standards of educational programming and practice
- Managing centre administration, documentation and regulatory requirements
- Fostering a positive, professional and collaborative workplace culture
Essential Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standard (NQS) and National Regulations
- Previous leadership experience within an early childhood setting
Highly Desirable:
- Previous Centre Director experience
- Assessment and Rating experience
- Strong compliance knowledge
- Experience managing occupancy, enrolments and team performance
- Ability to work under pressure, solve problems and lead a team with confidence

Pay: $78,603.17 – $120,571.34 per year
